Undying Affection

God, restore us and make Your face shine upon us, and we will be saved.

Psalm 80:3

Changed by the light of your wisdom,
it’s Your love that makes me braver, 
and points me to a fresh new start. 

Shining upon me, You impart,
Your stirring and brilliant favor,
that awakens my soul, once numb.
 
Breaking my chains to the system,
I have a new life to savor, 
with truth that resounds in my heart.

Your mercy will never depart,
and Your grace will never waiver,
while Your finest is yet to come. 

Let my life be a reflection,
of Your undying affection.
