Light Shall Shine Out of Darkness!

Keys to Heaven

I tell you for certain that everyone who hears my message and has faith in the one who sent me has eternal life and will never be condemned. They have already gone from death to life.

John 5:24
Jesus,
The Son of God,
holds our keys to heaven.
Praise His Holy Name forever,
Our King!

    • Thank you, David. I read recently about the Moravian Church which has the motto: “In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, love.” I don’t know much else about that Church or its history, but I can really get behind the simplicity of their motto. Sometimes we (myself included) try to make faith too complicated and it really does just come down to recognizing Jesus as our savior and receiving His gift of grace through faith.

      • Great motto, indeed! I tend to make it complicated at times. It really does come down to ‘love’. Simple, yet so difficult. Agape love is something I certainly have not mastered!

Just finished a great book. Love Is The Way by Bishop Michael Curry. I recommend it if you haven’t read it or are looking for something heart-felt to read.

        David
