For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.
Psalm 86:5
Redeemed forever now and inwardly renewed,
heroically ransomed although undeserving still,
divine grace cascading love abounding among
rescued souls, opened minds, softened hearts
reaping genuine faith and repentance true;
extending unmerited favor, lavishing
mercies upon mercies interposing
full and final pardon amply
erased all sins presently
here and now
forgiven
now and here
presently sins all erased
amply; pardon, final and full
interposing mercies upon mercies
lavishing favor unmerited, extending
true repentance and faith genuine, reaping
hearts softened, minds opened, souls rescued
among abounding love cascading divine grace;
still undeserving although ransomed heroically,
renewed inwardly and now forever redeemed!

Scotti – did you write these beautiful poems?
They are touching – I love the way the word forgiven/living stand out all alone dead centre. They draw your eyes to the poem before you even start reading. So clever to be able to read them backwards as well!
I wouldn’t know where to start? In the middle??
Thanks for the comment on Unchained Hope!
I’ve started a new website called Unchained Life –
http://joniel.wordpress.com/
It’s Christian poetry and blessings. I hope you like it.
God bless you and inspire you,
Jonie
Hi Jonie,
Looking forward to your new website! Thank you for your gracious comments. Yes, I wrote both palindromes. I do start with a one word topic and then work from there – not an easy form to be sure! You should try one! Palindromes do not have to be in the shape that I made these poems. That was just a little extra challenge I gave myself. Carol at http://www.writeathome.wordpress.com has a wonderful palindrome about baptism. Check it out!
Love and Blessings,
Scotti
Scotti – the poem just took my breath away. Wonderful. Just so love the way forgiven is in the centre and everything out flows from it – just surrounds it. Amazing words you have put together.
“breath away” yes. captures it. nothing else i could say to do it justice! peace, Cindy
Beautiful poem, Scotti! I love the hourglass shape of it too. It’s kind of a little extra reminder that we need to repent and be forgiven while we still have the time to do it. Thanks for sharing your talent.
Blessings,
Carol
Scotti,
Thank you so much for your encouragement. I’d been away from my blog for exactly four months (as it happened).
Forgiven Now really touches all the bases!
Blessings,
Steve
Good morning. You truly have an incredible gift of placing together words in a fashion that offers up a thought provoking picture as Carol mentioned.
Blessings in Jesus name.

Thank you, precious friends, for your comments. This poem is still a little cumbersome in parts but I am trying to express the miracle of forgiveness.
The aim of this blog is to bring honor and glory to God through poetry. Many of these posts are experiments with various forms of poetry. I appreciate all of your feedback as I try new things!
May the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
Scottie – you have certainly reached your goal of brnging honour and glory to God through poetry. Glory and honour to Him are expressed so powerfully through every word. Peace and blessing to you
***Thank you, Sylvia. God Bless!
You are an inspiration Scotti! Your words and talent never cease to amaze me. This was exactly what I needed to see today 🙂
This is amazing Scotti, the words are of real comfort. Truly living waters flow as He said they would. Glory to God!
Amen!
Thanks to all for commenting. I have had a very eventful Spring Break and have spent very little time blogging! Looking forward to catching up with you all.
Blessings!
Scotti
I come back to read this poem often, I have also shared it with many people. It is amazing and I can see God working through you!

Blessings,
Debs
Absolutely, Debs. I have added you to my blogroll as well.
That was some impressive work there. I loved the many subtleties that go into it, and how the palindrome form and shaped structure seem to contribute to it.
Beautiful, as well as technically pleasing.
