I am an atheist but the poetry is beautiful in its simple intensity.
Greetings. I was here earlier, but didn’t have time to comment. I love the recurring line “In you (Jesus) alone I place my trust.” Our confidence isn’t in the shifting sands of materialism or uncertain riches, but in the living God who has no beginning and no ending. Thanks for an awesome post.

Love the usage of “You” and “Your” and how it implies (to me anyway…) that everything we “are” is “of Him”.

Beautiful, as always. He alone is the One in whom we trust, ever faithful, ever loving, ever true. Unfailing eternal God, precious Lord Jesus… our life, our breath, our everything!
I love the fact that God not only has the power to save us, but He has the power to keep us as well. I appreciate this prayer, and another verse came to mind as I was reading here.
2Ti 1:12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
