Children Weeping

“But who so shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” – Matthew 18:6

They look up, with their pale and sunken faces,
and their look is dread to see
.
These innocent ones, held hostage,
desperate to be set free.

From hidden depths of darkness, the little ones weep,
their tender youth is stolen,
while heinous sex traffickers continue to reap.
LORD, help stop these evil men.

God’s children held captive for unspeakable acts,
abused again and again.
Fueled by pornography, these are the straight facts,
too wicked for words, this sin.

LORD, send Your warriors into this battlefield
with Your angels as a shield.
