I said, ‘Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the Lord, that he may come and shower righteousness upon you.
Hosea 10:12
Arid hearts harden while sleeping through rain; The lost ones bellow by weeping through rain. Aching for showers, our torrid minds crave; Sweet fragrance of hope that's steeping through rain. Fragile and fading, the harvest is ripe; Still longing for Spring while seeping through rain. Pouring out grace in every new season; Like unfailing mercy leaping through rain. Bright and Morning Star, rain down LOVE on us; Quenching our parched souls and reaping through rain. Poetry Type: Ghazal

I’m afraid my comments will be too esoteric for most. Just know how much your poetry touches my soul, Scotti.
Thank you, David!
