The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord.
Luke 4:18-19
Sound the joyful liberty bell,
Our loving God is here to dwell,
His living water makes us well,
God is with us, Immanuel!
His prophesy won’t be undone,
He will finish what He’s begun,
He died for us, our God’s own Son,
Immanuel, the Righteous One!
To all captives, announce release,
O Holy One, pour out Your peace,
Jubilee’s trumpets greet the feast,
Immanuel, our Great High Priest!

Thankyou for your sweet comment on my latest post. I’m back in the Church after almost losing a brother to suicide. I know He can help me….
Best wishes for 2008

“He will finish what He’s begun”–next to our own sanctification, this is the joy of the intercessor, I can attest to that! I am encouraged!
These images, words, and music bring me to tears of joy in the Lord. Thank you.
