Morning Star Poetry

Light Shall Shine Out of Darkness!

Strength Renewed

Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.

Galatians 6:9

Renew us daily in Your strength, Lord.
Morning by morning, keep us awake,
proclaiming Your enduring promise.
Help us persevere for Your Name’s sake.

Steadfast and abounding in Your work,
planting the seeds of eternal bliss,
we will persevere for your Name’s sake,
proclaiming Your enduring promise.

Praying at all times, we won’t lose heart.
Of Your Good News we share and partake.
Proclaiming Your enduring promise,
we will persevere for Your Name’s sake.

As we wait, we will not grow weary,
for Your grace is like a father’s kiss.
Help us persevere for Your Name’s sake,
living out Your amazing promise!

For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows present grace and favor and future glory, honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss! No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. Psalm 84:11 (Amplified)

  2. Love this style of poetry. Brings the point home! Merry Christmas to you and yours as we persevere for HIS NAMES SAKE!

  3. This is timely affirmation for me…”keep us awake”….”Your grace is like a father’s kiss”….Things have piled up burden-wise for us this month, and I recently turned to Psalm 119 at a suggestion from Francine as a “prescription.” It reminded us to refocus on the Lord–something we need to be reminded of daily–as well as Ps. 84, which you quoted, “No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” Thank you, dear Sister.
