Light Shall Shine Out of Darkness!

Living God

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Hewbrews 9:14

Past, present and future the True God lives!
He shows us His love by the life He gives.
For the sins of the world, His blood was shed.
Treasure His Word as your daily bread.

Put your trust in the God who became man.
He loved you long before your life began.
The Lord deserves our blind adoration,
He is the sovereign God of all nations!

Truth written by the Spirit on our hearts,
To quicken and comfort, to set apart.
Jesus defeated death and rose again.
He dwells within us and frees us from sin.

In believing, you have life in His name!
Innocent and pure He took all our blame.
He will cover you with grace here and now,
To the Living God every knee will bow.

Drink from His life-giving well evermore!
An oasis of love He has in store.
We are called to walk by faith not by sight,
Allow Christ to be your beacon of light.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

2 Corinthians 3:3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life

  1. Greetings. Awesome and ever so true. We serve a living God who inhabits eternity and yet numbers the hairs on our head. So much truth packed into this poem. Thanks.

  2. Very beautiful! I am so thankful that God came to dwell among us, give His life for us and now give us the opportunity to have His Spirit dwell in us. He is truly an awesome God! May you have a blessed Easter.
