Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy.
1 peter 1:8
My heart has seen the evidence
Now focused with new confidence
It’s Your love that makes me whole
Convinced by the sight of my soul
Past ways are blinded by Your light
Through eyes of faith give me sight
Eyes fixed on the One in control
Convinced by the sight of my soul
Ever joyful of this freedom
Born again to see Your kingdom
Glorifying Christ is the goal
Convinced by the sight of my soul
My heart has seen the evidence
Convinced by the sight of my soul
We live by faith, not by sight.
2 Corinthinas 5:7Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:18The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. Romans 8:16
This form of poetry is called a Kyrielle Sonnet (French) which has 14 lines with 8 syllables each. The last line of each stanza repeats in the 3 rhyming quatrains. The poem ends with a non-rhyming couplet which is made up of the first and last sentence of the poem.

The line “Past ways are blinded by your light” really hit home. Al of our yestrerdays cast into the sea of forgetfulness, never to be seen again. Thanks for posting this. Also thanks for commenting yesterday. I think that you described to the young boy how God is infinate very well. It’s amazing how children will ask sincere questions and challenge us. Our youngest will be 9 on April 13. He will ask serious questions when you’re least expecting it. It’s good because we’re to be ready always to give answer to any who ask of the hope that is in us.
Have a very blessed day in christ
Beautiful poem, Scotti! Where did you learn all these different forms of poetry? You have certainly inspired me to start writing more(or at least to try) Thank you.

Stunning work here, not only does it reflect your faith but also your gift with words that God has given you. Written with love and grace! I really liked this part:
Ever joyful of this freedom
Born again to see Your kingdom
Glorifying Christ is the goal
Convinced by the sight of my soul
Well done! 🙂
