You have a pure and enduring inheritance that cannot perish—an inheritance that is presently kept safe in heaven for you. – 1 Peter 1:4
Anywhere in heaven will be joy enough for me,
joy enough for me, when my blessed Lord I see;
there among the ransomed ones to shout redemption free,
where the Master of Mercy shields my soul forever.
- Fanny Crosby, “Anywhere in Heaven”
In the lofty heights of holy and pure,
where our souls find peace and forever rest,
our Lord will greet us as an honored guest.
His steadfast mercy will surely endure,
for Christ alone is the ultimate cure.
Today’s pain and anguish will melt and mend,
as the chains of time and space rip and rend.
Lavishing in Heaven’s joy eternal,
enjoying timeless truth sempiternal,
in a place with no beginning or end.
His children long to see Him face to face,
on the other side of the earth and sky,
His divine presence resonates on high.
What an honor to share God’s dwelling place,
to be overcome by His brilliant grace.
His greatest work in us at last complete,
as He separates the chaff from the wheat.
Every tangled ache and pain will flee,
so, gladly we will pray on bended knee,
and revel well to worship at his feet.
Transformed, we will sing from our very core,
redeemed from the pit, our debt has been paid,
right there at the cross where our sins were laid.
In Abraham’s bosom, as those before,
the cost due by us instead Jesus bore.
The blessed Lord removes our carnal shame,
He humbled Himself to take all our blame,
to offer His life as ransom for all.
Dear friends, won’t you join me and heed His call,
to make Him Your Lord and honor His Name?
Join me at His banquet in paradise,
with contentment, security, and peace,
like kings of old reclining at the feast,
we’ll live blissfully, and devoid of vice.
The precious blood of Christ has paid our price,
like the rising sun, He is our Dayspring,
shining His light to cover everything.
Endless joy awaits in serenity.
Shielding our spirit for eternity,
for Christ is our Savior and one true King.
