The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever. – 1 John 2:17
Mere time is just an illusion,
an echo resonating rhyme,
a dark shadow of delusion.
Life over death, and chance, and time,
fly envy time fly; run the race,
you will lose, even in your prime.
The love of God you can’t outpace,
God’s Truth and Love shall ever shine,
triumphant over time by grace.
Where hearts and minds and souls align,
eternity shall greet our bliss,
and wrap us in His peace divine.
Welcomed home by our Father’s kiss,
where all these mortal curses quit,
finally free from deep abyss.
Redeemed forever from the pit,
attir’d in Light, the clock outwit.
