Everything on earth has its own time and its own season. There is a time for birth and death, planting and reaping. – Ecclesiates 3:1
Time rolls on like turning pages,
as it has throughout the ages.
For all things, there is a season,
testing true our faith and reason.
Life goes on while death still wages,
time rolls on like turning pages.
Your passing rocked me to the core,
forgotten scenes came rushing fore.
Wounds reopened, unforgiven,
imploring me to search within.
Time rolls on like turning pages,
even so, my sorrow rages.
Then God reminds of mercy true,
so I extend that grace to you.
God is there through all life’s stages,
time rolls on like turning pages.
