Free from Anxiety

Let him have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you. – 1 Peter 5:7

Silent echoes, where pain is wrought,
a secret hush that goes unseen.
My mind consumed by inner thoughts,
that taunt at me, just to demean.

Persistent doubt and unchecked fear,
drowning my life in double cross.
Consuming all that I hold dear,
repeating themes of shame and loss.

But now I’m free, no longer bound,
God’s Word sets me on solid ground.
