Sunburst

The city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon to shine in it; for the glory of God gave it light, and the Lamb is the light thereof”. – Revelation 21:23

The perfect source of radiance,
in the splendor of God’s glory,
our sunbeam.

Where mourning is turned into joy,
and raw silence into singing,
our sundance.

The river of life warmly flows
resplendent and clear as crystal,
our sunbath.

Jeweled city where love abounds,
and the Lamb of God is our lamp,
our sunkiss.

Forever free of cold darkness,
basking in God’s glowing comfort,
our sunburst.
