God’s Rainbow

I have placed my rainbow in the clouds as a sign of my promise until the end of time, to you and to all the earth. – Genesis 9:13

There is beauty in creation,
and glory in the divine,
From colorful prisms in the sky,
beams God's promise by design.

With red, orange, yellow, and green 
then blue, violet, and indigo -
altogether, a symbol of hope,
in the seven colors of the rainbow.
