And he [Jesus] awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, โPeace! Be still! โAnd the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. He said to them, โWhy are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?โ โ Mark 4:39-40
The sky grew angry with red in her eyes,
and her ghost in the clouds rallied the wind.
Does the tempest decide who lives and dies,
as she stretches her arms from end to end?
The furious squall takes aim for attack,
they cry out in fear, while Christ calmly slept.
The briny deep turned a fierce boiling black,
in terror and angst, His followers wept.
With power He rose and came to their aid,
revealing He rules the earth and its force.
Jesus commanded and the wind obeyed,
for He made all things and He is their source.
Lifeโs troubles and storms, they still come and go,
but God never leaves, and faith can still grow.

Your poem is strong, faithful and passionate, and is a lovely reminder that something good can come of something bad.
