Tender Mercy

The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works [the entirety of things created]. – Psalm 45:9

Like the ship that lost its anchor,
whose return is long overdue,
alone out to sea and adrift,
fighting the ocean of power.

Let the dawn of God's love draw near
like the grass revived by the dew,
when the sun starts her graceful shift,
He's waiting for you this hour.

God will cover you with His name,
and bath you in His love so true,
by granting your spirit a lift,
refreshing as a spring shower.

Our Creator longs to bless you,
With tender mercy as His gift.
