Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Romans 5:3-5
We persevere through pain and stress,
and reap new hope with every tear,
to lean on God despite the mess.
We persevere.
The struggle’s real we must confess,
as troubles choke with constant fear,
and life sustains the vex and press.
But in His grace, God lends an ear,
and through it all, He longs to bless,
when we are weak, His strength is near.
We persevere.
