Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. – Isaiah 5:20
A tragedy, so horridly deep and wide
displaying hate, bigotry, and genocide,
when six million precious souls suffered and died,
leaving the world stunned, perplexed, and mortified.
With ominous catastrophic destruction
of heinous and systematic construction
by mindless men following vile instruction,
carrying out the most evil production.
Fissures barbaric to civilized nations,
hideous cracks in our man-made foundations,
as the world ignored insane declarations,
fracturing forever all generations.
To honor the victims and all that has been,
keep telling their stories again and again.
For lasting shalom, we must reckon within,
and praying for peace is one place to begin.

Beautifully executed piece. I feel your deep conviction and the strings of your very heart being strained.
