The Lord bless you, and keep you [protect you, sustain you, and guard you]; The Lord make His face shine upon you [with favor], And be gracious to you [surrounding you with lovingkindness]; The Lord lift up His countenance (face) upon you [with divine approval],And give you peace [a tranquil heart and life].’ Numbers 6:24-26
God never stops showing favor,
as you remain within His keep.
Blotting away tears when you weep,
His great mercy does not waiver.
God’s grace is a place to savor
like a locked and guarded rampart
a needed refuge from the start.
May the Lord bless you and keep you
and enlighten your love anew
by shining peace into your heart.
