He Longs to Bless You

And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (God’s people).

Ephesians 1:18

God’s wrapped in majesty and light,
He longs to bless you with His hope,
to leave the soul no room to mope.

And by the power of His might,
He longs to bless you with His peace,
true love for you will never cease.

By faith, God lifts your soul in flight,
He longs to bless you with His joy,
where moth and rust cannot destroy.

God wants to give your heart new sight,
He longs to bless you with His love,
unending mercy from above.

With Jesus Christ, the future’s bright,
He longs to bless you with His grace,
a gift for you to now embrace.
